Abstract: Migration is stirring up controversy across Europe. Politicians and pundits point to clashes that flare up—or so the story goes—when people of different religious and nonreligious ways of life come together. This book challenges that story. Setting an experimental and explorative agenda, it brings together activist and academic voices affiliated with A World of Neighbours, a multi-faith network that has been engaging with people on the move across Europe. These voices, from a wide variety of contexts and countries, tell a different story. We are already living in a world of neighbours, whether we like it or not. Through practices of living together that cut across religious and nonreligious boundaries, we can change the world we live in.
